- Degree Requirements
Grades are available in NetClassroom. Under the "Grades" tab select Transcript. Transcripts are updated on a weekly basis for the first four weeks after the end of a semester. Your grade will not appear for a class until the instructor has provided the grade to the registrar's office. If your grade does not appear after the fourth week, contact the instructor. This is the only method by which grades are provided to students.

For the United Theological Seminary Style Guide and other information about formatting, setting up your document in MS Word, etc., please consult the Writer's Rucksack in the Student Services section of Moodle.
See the forms below.

Forms (except registration forms)
The Seminary confers degrees at the conclusion of each semester: fall, spring and summer. One commencement ceremony is held on the Sunday following the end of spring semester. Students must declare their intent to graduate by submitting the petition to graduate form to the registrar's office by first day of the fall semester of the year in which they plan to graduate.
Requests for official and unofficial transcripts must be made in writing to the registrar’s office. Your signature is required to release your academic records, so we cannot accept telephoned or e-mailed requests. You may use a Transcript Request Form (link below) or you may send the information in a letter, note, or fax. The request must include all of the following information:
- Full name, including your name while a student if different
- Your student ID number or the last four digits of your Social Security number
- The address to which the transcript should be sent
- Due date, if there is one
- Your signature
If you need a transcript sent via overnight mail, please indicate this on the transcript request in bold letters and include a date by which the transcript must arrive at its destination.
Transcript requests are processed once a week on Thursday morning for all requests received by Thursday morning. Official transcripts cost $15.00, payment due prior to sending the transcript. You may pay with cash, check, or credit card. Unofficial transcripts are free. Transcripts will not be issued for anyone with outstanding obligations to the seminary (e.g., financial or library).
